Forum discussion: My 30/5 service has been working great up until the last couple of days. I am still seeing 30 Mbps on the download speed tests, but 0 upload. The upload speed dropped to zero today. We checked the router , filter and connections and everything is fine. We called bt up and they said that download speed is guaranteed but not the upload speed. The internet is not working and no one is helping us. Bt said that there is no fault on their side and will charge us if we ask for an engineer.
The download is flying 110MB/s but upload is 0-.1mbs, speed test usually just errors but on occasion will report 0 All tests claim everything is fine, have reset the router and the same thing. Not sure when it started but expect it was not long ago.
Verizon has had several different versions of a speed test at Broadband Internet Speed Test by Verizon. This is the first time I've used this particular one. There is a very long delay between the end of the download test and the beginning of the upload test. On the order of 30 seconds or so.
